Oregon adventure!

Our first leg of our Oregon vacation: OC to Portland.

The little guy was packed and ready to go...

He was REALLY excited about having his own carry-on luggage. Here he looks like he's late for a connecting flight... LOLAnd I kid you guys not... HE headed straight to the People Mover. All by himself. Like he's been flying for years. A natural traveler. Logan actually did VERY well on the flight. Mind you, it was just under two hours, so no big deal. But he did better than we'd expected:)Watching a few movies on the iPad didn't hurt...Our first stop in Portland we are staying in a cute little duplex that we rented for 2 nights off of airbnb.com which is Vacation Rentals By Owners. It really has been a much better choice than a hotel!

Logan loved it and the novelty of it all. He also adjusted well as we brought a few of his favorite toys: Cars. Our cute little home for 2 days... Right in the heart of Hawthorne District... Coffee, restaurants and close to great parks.Reading his books before "nite-nite"We had an AMAZING and fun day and the travel was not bad! Once Logan was settled in his own room, Dan and I enjoyed a delicious Thai take-out dinner in the back porch. It really was SO nice, cozy and MUCH better than a hotel!I heart Portland:)

19 Months Old

If I had to choose one thing that I've noticed it's remarkably new or different this month is that Logan is starting to use two-word sentences. Of course, his very first of these was "Big Truck."
Imagine that.
On the physical skills, he's trying to learn to "jump" but his feet don't leave the ground...
Other than that, Logan had a very exciting 19 month day as he got to go camping (for the day). We went to visit his cousins and they happened to be camping for the weekend, so we went there. Logan could NOT be happier.
Toddler vs Wild:

He really got the lounging around side of camping...He LOVED being in the tent with his cousins...:) And as usual, there's always a lot of fun to be had with Gramma:)

18 months old

For the Logan fans out there, we finally got into the doctor for his 18-month appointment. He is finally starting to level off and come down into the charts. (He'd been off the charts in height, weight and especially head size since birth...)

He's a healthy 30 lbs, and 34.4 inches tall and if you are looking to get him a hat (which he loves, by the way) his head is 19.75 in in diameter...

Him and I had a nice lunch date, a visit to the fountain and a walk about before nap time.

Mother's Day with my boys

"Hi, mama"

The boys took me to the Flower Fields in Carlsbad for Mother's day (after letting me spend a whole morning uninterrupted at the gym to workout and lounge in the spa:)

It was a beautiful day all around.

Happy Boy makes his Mama so happy!

His favorite:)I love my boys. Thanks for the best Mother's Day I've ever had! ;)
