Mega park playdate

Jenny organized a mega park playdate with so many ride-on toys, tunnels and pizza... it was such a great day! Of course, Logan was just interested in fighting over, I mean, sharing the ride-on toys... The kid won't walk by himself but he'll ride a quad. Fabulous.

Logan was recently sick and we were homebound for about a week with different types of weather and Mama was going a bit stir crazy being on house arrest. But even on cooler days you can have some fun with bubbles:)

It's all about the bike

Sometime last week, Logan's BFF Cody brought this to our park playdate. The second he saw it, he knew what to do and would not get off of it. I felt terrible, because Logan did NOT want to give it back to Cody... who was amazingly patient and a very good sharer!

So I knew then that I had to find him something similar. A few days later I picked up this Tryke for him. He was on it faster than I could get his shoes on and as you can see, it was a big hit!

He got the hang of it pretty well, especially because this one involved steering, something he had never had to do before. I think he's a natural lover of all that has wheels, just like his parents!

His papa took him to the park and he bee-lined for this and was trying to "get a leg up on it." We are pretty sure we know what his next word is going to be: Bike.

I'm not sure what's going on here... but If I had to guess, I'd say he's discovered his nipples! LOL!!!

Now that Logan is a bit older we decided to spend a nice family day at Zoomar's Zoo.

He was somewhat interested this time.

I'm not sure when they develop it, but Logan still has NO concept of "GENTLY."

This song came on at the gym this morning and Logan went NUTS. I downloaded it on my phone when we got home to see if I got the same reaction... close. I especially like the "hip rolls" and "bend-downs"

Hello 2011, nice to meet you!

We spent this NYE with our new friends Paul and Allison and their son, Ryan.
The kids got to play and then went off to bed upstairs in Pack n Plays, cribs and swings... and the parents continued the party and rang in the New Year. It was awesome! They had a cake decorating contest... yes, and it was the first time I'd ever attempted anything like that. Haha.
Ours was the mountain bike, of course.
